He had a great party,
where we had the cousins, ganya and danda, and friends. Jacob, and cousing Jamie were a lot of fun to play with, and it was amazing seeing how far Mac has come in one year. Much wiser from being the helpless little guy that was born into this world.
Walking, and talking, and playing. It was so unreal.
The pinata was a huge hit... (haha, get it, hit)
It was a little hit for the babies.
It was a little hit for the cousins.
It was a honkin' huge hit for Kerri, who seemed to enjoy it a little too much, and poor Malcolm was so upset that she broke it.
Cupcakes were so much fun to make. Vanilla with fudge swirl, cream cheese frosting, and blue sprinkles.
Very moist and very yummy. Malcolm definitely thought so too.
Presents were more fun for daddy than for baby, but he and Jacob sure enjoyed the shoe box.
All in all, I think it was a hit! Happy first birthday Mac. May you have many more.
I was so proud of myself at the Smithfield triathlon. I had so much fun, and it was easier than I thought it would be. The swim was cake, which I expected, I must have passed over a dozen people. It was definitely a game of battle pool. The bike kicked my tail. 7th place in the pool, when I could have gone faster made me feel great, but 26th in bike times has me committed to bettering my cycling skills. I was 14th overall, and though the run was tricky after the bike, I did great! The pictures here are of my transition area, and my boys came out to cheer me on. They were so proud!
My tropical paradise includes a lot of lying down, 
sleeping, beaches, water, oh and flamingos. 
Malcolm didn't agree at first,
but now nothing is more fun than flamingos.
I am an outdoor person.
I love playing outside, and we have really been enjoying this beautiful weather.
The soccerball Malcolm's grandparent's got him for his birthday is a perfect toy for a toddler, except in gusty wind.
But still, there is nothing better than playing with family.
